Introducted by the great Leo Fender in 1950, the Telecaster has remained an essential instrument with virtually no changes to the original design. However, the intonation problems of the 3 way saddle design do not meet the demands placed upon modern musicians.
With the new Hipshot Compensators, you can now have near perfect intonation with the classic sound of the 3 way design. Precision machined brass saddles offset the point of string to saddle contact, effectivley giving you the proper intonation compensation and a steeper 20 degree saddle drop off angle gives you a crisper, better defined tone and attack.
